. . . and one more month to go!
i can't believe our little munchkin is going to turn one! where did the time go? this blog hasn't been updated. we've been quite busy. kaia is just a ball of energy and we love spending every minute possible with her. :)
here's an update so far @ 11 months. . .
. . . she has 4 lower teeth and 1 and a half upper teeth (more still popping out)
. . . she loves to eat what we eat (as long as its mashed up)
. . . she always greets us with a huge smile when we get home and wants us to pick her up
. . . she walks as long as she's holding onto something and once in a while feels brave to walk a couple of steps on her own
. . . she is getting really tall!
. . . she looks like a mix of mommy (the eyes and lips) & daddy (the hair and cheeks)
. . . she lovvvves watching ni hao kailan, sid the science kid, sesame street, and loves to dance to this . . .
"you remind of the babe! . . . what babe? . . . the babe with the power. . . what power? . . . the power of voodoo. . . who do? . . . you do!. . . do what? . . . remind me of the babe!"

. . . she gets so focused on one thing for so long and won't quit until she has it!

. . . she claps her hands after each bite when we feed her
. . . she gets very sentimental and when she sees pictures of her cousins and they're not around, she starts to get misty eyed and cries so we have to call them and put them on speaker phone :(

. . . she is so sweet and affectionate - last night damien wasn't feeling well and i woke up to see her sitting up in the bed between damien & i and she was looking at me with a sad face then putting her arms around her daddy and nuzzling his neck! awww! i thought it was the cutest thing! and a kodak moment but i was too sleepy to grab the camera. lol.. . . she blows flying kisses
muahhhhhh!
and she's the center of our world! :)
